Punjab’s Royal Mixed Martial Arts Academy Bags 14 Medals at National Karate Championship

New Delhi, August 2025: Punjab’s Royal Mixed Martial Arts Academy (RMMAA) delivered a stunning performance at the 19th All India Independence Cup Karate Championships, held at the prestigious Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, clinching a total of 14 medals. The tally includes 11 gold, two silver, and Two bronze, making it one of the most remarkable medal hauls of the tournament.

The annual championship, known for its high level of competition, drew participants from across India, each vying for national glory in their respective categories. Despite the fierce competition, the RMMAA team stood out with their technical mastery, determination, and disciplined approach.

From Gold to Glory

The RMMAA’s dominance was most visible in the gold medal count, with 11 of their players reaching the top of the podium. Their skill in kata (forms) and kumite (sparring) events showcased not only individual talent but also the academy’s effective training methods.

The two silver medalists, Vivek Ahirwar and Mansi, displayed strong performances and narrowly missed the gold in closely contested finals. Bronze medalist Karandeep Kaur & Revati also earned praise for her determination and sportsmanship.

The academy’s achievement is expected to inspire many young people across Punjab to take up karate, not only as a competitive sport but as a way to build confidence, focus, and physical fitness.
